Rules of a Milso:
1) If you must wear his dog tags, wear them inside of your shirt. You’re representing the US Military by wearing them and a lot of those in the military don’t even wear them in public, so why should you? Remember you have not earned them and they are not yours!
2) Don’t hold his hand while he’s in uniform. But if you absolutely must touch him every minute of the day, make sure you’re holding onto his left arm so that his right is free to salute.
3) Don’t take risque photos in his uniform and post them for the world to see. I understand your S/O may like seeing that, so if you’re going to do it, take the photos just for him. Posting them on a social network such as facebook, tumblr, etc. is a disgrace to the uniform. A uniform that is earned through a lot of hard work and dedication and represents the United States.
