I found this online and whoever wrote this is an amazing person!
I have probably the most respect ever for military couples. Sometimes they're apart for more than a year... Most people complain when they can't see their boyfriend or girlfriend for more than a week.
Imagine not knowing if they'll be coming home, if the last time you skype with them could be the last time ever. Imagine yourself in the position when you have to send them off at the airport.
My tears would be endless, but the ones being left behind somehow find strength and are able to carry on with their life even with everything at stake.
Imagine having a count down until the day when they finally get to come home. Imagine getting the knock at your door telling you that they're gone forever. Imagine having to tell your children that. Imagine putting yourself in all those positions, and tell me they don't deserve some respect. They do.
