To U.S. Military Veterans:

When I look at our Flag, I see you. The white stripes represent freedom and justice, but they are tempered with red stripes – stripes that represent the blood and sacrifice of the men and women who fight to protect our Liberty and the Liberty of our Country. This is your blood on the Flag, your face I see when I look at our Flag, and your service and sacrifice I salute when I stand before the Flag. This is an impact that will last forever – an influence you will proudly carry forever – and I am proud to honor you.
